Sales & Marketing Manager - Out of Bounds - Family Activity Centre, West Sussex

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a warm, welcoming and friendly manner, thrives on selling, customer interaction and the delivery of outstanding customer service. Competent and familiar with computerised technology and all social media platforms, payment tracking and processing, data input, bookings and appointments. A calm confidence is required, efficient and organised, a multi-tasking quick thinker and able to handle all customer service situations. You must be an excellent communicator and team player.

You will also be a digital content creator, managing all social media, maximising brand exposure working with Facebook, Instagram, Google Plus, Trip Advisor, YouTube and other social networking sites.

Outline of Responsibilities Include:

  • At least 3 years experience in sales and marketing
  • Managing and assisting the Bookings Coordinator
  • Social networking user
  • Network and attending local events representing the organisation and encouraging new business.
  • To work with all departments
  • Generate new leads (using own initiative) and following through to completion
  • To carryout show-rounds in order to demonstrate our excellent facilities
  • Management and creation of engaging content on our social media accounts
  • Responding to review websites
  • To operate in-house booking systems
  • To up sell our products.
  • Out reach to potential customers, growing the group events side of the business
  • Create new promotional leaflets and advertising content
  • General support for administration, answering telephone and email enquiries
  • Creating and managing databases
  • Using our CRM system and creating marketing campaigns
  • Event planning for group and corporate bookings
  • Manage budgets
  • Manage and maintain Golf Club memberships
  • Growing the memberships

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in sales and/or marketing
  • Strong understanding of social media, SEO, digital marketing
  • Competent using technology including the internet, social media platforms, Microsoft office applications, basic photo shop skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Formal marketing and/or sales qualification
  • Financial and accounting knowledge
  • The ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Be self-motivated and highly organised
  • Experience in creating and managing events
