Senior Events Co-ordinator
We are looking for a highly motivated graduate level candidate with some relevant events/hospitality experience to join us as Senior Events Co-ordinator here at our Pall Mall clubhouse in London. You will play an integral part in assisting the Events Department which operates for the mutual benefit of members and their guests.
The department organises approximately 150 events a year, including theatre trips, gourmet dinners, cultural visits and many others. As Senior Events Co-ordinator you will assist the Events Manager to promote the Club’s facilities to members, helping to develop the calendar of events and the range and quality of events according to the standard set by the Senior Banqueting & Events Manager. Your key responsibilities will include:
Creating compelling materials to promote future events
Taking bookings and preparing and running events
Researching future ideas for events
Liaising with Members and outside suppliers to deliver the best possible experience
Carrying out post event surveys to monitor satisfaction levels and develop actions plans to improve this in future.
You must be a confident and friendly individual who has already gained some events or banqueting experience, preferably in a high-end hospitality environment. You should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. We are seeking a strong organiser who has the knowledge and skills to maintain the events diary and to work with others to ensure room bookings and key details are recorded and implemented. You should also be able to use your own initiative at all times, have a strong work ethic and be a proficient user of IT packages
