Online Merchandise Manager – Kidswear - George.com
Based at George House in Lutterworth

This is an exciting opportunity to join George.com, one of the strongest performing channels in the business! This is a key role in the Kidswear division and the role will help shape and drive the strategy and wider George.com agenda. The ideal candidate should be operating at Merchandise/ Merchandising Manager level with a background in commercial planning.
What you’ll be responsible for:·Responsible for a number of the key Kids categories· Driving the commercial agenda – maximizing profit in-season down to net profit level

Responsible for managing and developing the team

·Working closely with peers to drive overall Kids & Baby strategy·Work cross functionally with multiple different teams including Buying, Supply, Design, Storefront, Operations, Activity Planning, Asda Logistics Services (ALS)·Driving forward ways of working, working on & devising new processes·Central point of contact for George.com trading in your division, rolling information from individual departments into total George.com overview·Managing critical path, ensuring deadlines are met for my categories & direct reports·Inventory management·Managing product critical path and lifecycle to ensure launch availability and full availability on both range & activity·Accurate forecasting of sales, stock-turn and markdown to achieve maximum profit·Analysis of sales data to provide recommendations for range control, budgeting & selection for future seasons-to include use of new Tableau tools·Working closely with the buying team to further understand our customer needs & competitor activity·Defining and shaping business strategy both short & long-term·Identifying and managing key volume & value linesAbout you:
