The role of Junior Sous Chef is vitally important to our culinary team and requires the ability to be a supervisory leader throughout the running of day to day kitchen operations.

Areas of focus include all food preparation areas including Banquets, Room Service, Restaurant, bar/lounge and associate canteen to ensure a consistent, high quality food product.

What You'll Do

Working with the Food and Beverage management team and associates to continually improve guest and associate satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget

You must be able to motivate and lead a Kitchen brigade in the Head Chefs absence

You will be responsible for cooking and preparing from fresh in high volumes.

Maintain Health & Safety documentation in accordance with company standards including food logs.

Ensure personal and team uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional

Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications.
