As the Executive Sous Chef, you will play an integral part in the creation of new menus throughout the hotel’s F&B outlets and events, ensuring the food quality and presentation is of a 5-star attention to detail and driven by imagination, local knowledge, leading and developing a multi-cultural brigade. You will be playing a hands on role in the kitchens and maintaining high visibility with colleagues and report to our Executive Head Chef within the Kitchens Department.

Creating a high performance feedback culture at all levels, allowing the team to contribute to the success of the business and recognizing their individual contributions will form a major part of your role. As Executive Sous Chef, you will also be working towards ensuring the hotel maintains and improved on having a 2 Rosette star restaurant and a 1 Rosette star restaurant. As we focus on delivering dishes that include ingredients that are seasonal, locally and responsibly sourced, you will be ensuring that this is maintained as well as ensuring food costs are kept low.
