Assistant Manager - Cambridge
Reports to: Business Manager
Direct Reports: Supervisors and Team Members
Purpose: We are looking for an individual who can provide support to and efficiently manage a team of Supervisors and Team Members as well as recruit, induct, train, develop and manage performance of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide valuable contribution to the business and focus on delivering excellence, working alongside the management team to ensure business objectives are met
- Provide support to and efficiently manage your team of Supervisors and Team Members - Recruit, induct, train, develop and manage performance of Supervisors and Team members
- Ensure a front of house presence at key business times to oversee the delivery of the customer journey
- Deliver the core KPI’s through effective duty management
- Maximise engagement of the team through recognition, coaching and empowerment
- Maintain and build awareness of current and imminent film product, promotions
- Ensure the highest levels of Audio Visual presentation are maintained
- React and respond to local market conditions and trading to maintain business efficiency in a timely manner
- Control all cash and maintain banking controls
- Remain within budgetary constraints where applicable
- Follow Health and Safety policies and Ensure high levels of cleaning and housekeeping are maintained consistently
Skills Required:
- Customer facing industry experience
- Knowledge of film
- IT Literate
- Ability to prioritise tasks
- Good organisational skills
- Good communicator
- Supervisory or line management experience.
