ArtsTrain is a pioneering creative music programme managed by the award winning social enterprise Mytime Active. In 2018 the organisation became Bromley's first ever Arts Council National Portfolio organisation, providing young people aged 11-25 with access to exceptional creative music opportunities across Bromley, Bexley and Lewisham.

 


About the role

 

 

 

 

A unique opportunity for an enthusiastic, passionate and dynamic individual, with a strong track record in music to lead on the planning and delivery of ArtsTrain's exceptional Music Programme for young people aged 11-25 in Bromley, Bexley and Lewisham.

 

 

Working with professional artists, youth and community partners, schools and other creative organisations, you will develop projects, workshops and performance opportunities, to establish pathways and progression routes for diverse groups of young people.

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Experience of producing and programming live music events
  • Experience of running varied programmes of music, and other arts activities for teenagers and young adults, in the non-formal and formal education sectors
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the live music industry, record industry and current musical trends
  • Knowledge and understanding of music provision in secondary schools.

The 32 hour role is flexible to include some evening and weekend work and we would be open to discussing a work pattern which could flexibly work for the right candidate.
