Climbing Instructor - Sunbury Leisure Centre

Part time - Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-10pm

An exciting opportunity to deliver climbing sessions at Sunbury Leisure Centre. Candidates should be highly motivated to deliver quality climbing sessions to children and adults ensuring the facility remains safe, clean and well maintained. 

To apply for this job candidates must:

• Have a level of experience of working with children
• Be able to deal with child’s behavioural strategies
• Be able to plan, deliver activity and evaluate
• Have good interpersonal skills and responsive nature
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Have a Climbing Wall Award (CWA) or a Single Pitch Award (SPA) 

Specific roles of the job:

• Plan and set up activities
• Delivering a range of physical activity to children
• Manage health and safety requirements
• Support the children’s needs
• Induct new climbers, control access and supervise the climbing wall.
