As a key member of our brand communications team, you will help to drive creative and strategic integration across all channels. Within the wider customer and marketing team (and across the business) you will be seen as our go to digital communications expert. You will play a key role in shaping and developing our digital brand.

You will drive and own our capability, brand execution and performance across our digital estate and channels

Work Pattern

Typically Monday to Friday, office hours, but as you can imagine, there will be occasions where a degree of flexibility will be required.

Job Description

  • Responsibility for all aspects of our digital estate (brand, performance and – with the support of our IT Team – technical) covering our site, mobile app, social channels and our use of email & CRM.
  • Ensure that our digital channels play a key role in delivering our brand strategy and making Greggs means more to more people
  • To drive, report and enhance our digital performance (and associated analytics and reporting) including sales of digital gifting and merchandise
  • Playing an instrumental role in the development of our future vision for customers on devices/online to step change enhance our customer experience and brand reputation

  • Strong organisation, planning and
    analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and
    presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Project management and budget management skills
  • Computer literate in all Microsoft packages, e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

 

Job Related Experience - essential:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience working in a mid-senior weight digitally focused role within a leading brand or agency environment
  • Passion for brand and digital marketing
  • Strong digital and performance marketing background, with strategic and creative responsibilities across channel
  • Previous experience of working within a brand related role, with a focus on the use of social channels
  • Strong creative thinker with experience of evaluating and executing across channel
  • Experience working with and managing budgets across digital media channels, with a focus on performance driven marketing
  • Experience and understanding of the use of email as a performance marketing channel
  • Qualified within Marketing – degree or relevant professional qualification

 

Job related experience - desirable:

  • Experience working with digital media budgets
  • Good technical understanding across digital channels and platforms
  • Knowledge of e-Commerce management
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Delivery of digitally informed insight
  • Agency management experience
