Training and Development Manager - London

Wildwood started in 2008 with a mission to deliver great food, in beautiful restaurants, treating customers like guests in your own home. We have grown to over 50 restaurants, and are ready for the next stage of our development.

We are looking for someone who can provide leadership on learning and development as we deliver the next exciting phase of the people plan. You will be responsible for driving the learning and development agenda. As this is a new position you also have the opportunity to influence the agenda. Some priorities will include, developing comprehensive induction journeys for all new members of team, developing necessary content for all job roles, implementing and monitoring training, particularly for new management, and developing management’s capacity to train.

You will also provide support to our industry leading apprenticeship programme, particularly within our senior programmes.

The successful person will:

• Be experienced operationally with hospitality, ideally in branded restaurants
• Ideally be experienced working in both front of house and kitchen operations
• Have at least three years experience in training within a hospitality environment, ideally in branded restaurants
• Extensive experience in developing training content
• Able to roll up sleeves and get things done, whilst taking a strategic approach to keep improving offer
