Job Role Summary:

Working with us as a resort photographer would give you the opportunity to capture families naturally on the beach; during sunset portrait sessions, photograph a wide range of water sports where you can be creative and experiment with different concepts, and deliver workshops to guests at all levels in a stimulating learning environment.

You will be meeting new people on a daily basis, as well as working closely with your photography team, and the other UK and local staff based at each resort.

You’ll be practising a great variety of styles of photography. You'll need to present a professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintain an excellent standard of customer service.

This is a freelance role, so you will need to use your own high spec photography equipment to capture landbased photos or take picture form powerboats. You will need a talent for capturing the moment perfectly.

There will be plenty of opportunities to photograph Neilson guests and staff enjoying a wide range of activities including dinghy sailing, windsurfing, paddle sports, tennis, mountain biking and of course, the kid's clubs.

You will need to be able to commit to a minimum of 3 months abroad although many of our roles are 6-month contracts. You also have to be prepared to move between different resorts according to the operational needs of the business to fulfil your duties.

Your ability to be organised will be key as will the confidence to softly sell, prepare and deliver fun and friendly family portrait sessions on the beach. You'll need to work well in a team of like-minded photographers to proactively provide assistance to all guests each day and occasional evenings.

You'll need to be comfortable following timetables and making informed coverage decisions. At the end of each day, you should be able to effectively use your photographic software in order to edit, organise and export photos to an exceptional standard. Finally, you'll have to be able to demonstrate a personable, informative and efficient service for all potential clients.
