Warehouse Assistant & Forklift Operator - London

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic person to join our logistics team as a Warehouse Assistant & Forklift Operator. We are looking for someone who has the ability to work with little supervision and possess outstanding organisational & time-management abilities. Flexibility is essential to fulfil a variety of roles as is sometimes required. Practical and hands on are a must.

Excellent communication & interpersonal skills are also crucial. This role will primarily involve the movement and management of stock between units, getting orders together for national and international shipping and assisting with picking and occasional deliveries. We operate three shifts between 7am through to 7pm. There is an element of physicality but if you fancy the challenge and want to be part of a fun, upbeat and dynamic company, this is the place for you.

RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to)

• Building pallet orders in a timely manner ready for distribution
• Forklifting stock across all units
• Loading/Unloading all lorries
• Stock rotation, consolidating and assigning loose/damaged stock
• Picking, scanning & loading vans
• Occasionally going out on runs supporting the dray team
• Producing a product & materials stock take
• Aiding the packaging and brewing departments when required

DESIRED SKILLS

• Motivated and conscientious worker
• Physically fit and capable of lifting 40kg unaided
• Practical and hands-on
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Full drivers licence (desired)
• Forklift licence (desired but not crucial)
• C1 licence (desired but not crucial)
