Active Nation are on the hunt for a new Duty Manager to join our team at our Lincoln Contract (Yarborough & Birchwood Leisure Centre).

Can you manage, inspire, encourage and motivate your team AND our customers to be more active?

We’re looking for passionate, driven individuals who can enthuse and engage with our supporters (customers) creating a positive experience of our venue. If you are confident, self motivated, enjoy managing a BRILLiANT team of campaigners (staff) and are a great conversationalist then we’d love to hear from you!

You will report to the Venue Manager and you will be responsible for:

  • Management of a Specific Service Area of the business
  • Managing safety and service on a duty rota basis
  • Ensuring correct staffing levels at all times
  • Conducting operational duties
  • Opening and Closing of the Centre
  • Financial Performance of a specific area of the business
  • Effective Communications

We need you to work flexibly and across all opening hours, from early morning to late in the evening (on a rotational basis). Yarborough Leisure Centre is one of the Lincoln Contract Venues and includes 25m pool, Teaching pool, Diving pool, Sports Hall, Gym, Studio, cycle studio, all weather pitch, cycle track, athletics track and outdoor pitches.  Our other venue in Lincoln is Active Nation Birchwood, which includes Gym, Studio, Immersive Cycling Studio, Shapemaster Toning Studio, Costa Café, Climbing facility, Soft play area, party rooms, all weather pitch and outdoor pitches.
