At Loch Lomond Golf Club, we are looking for committed, reliable and hard-working individuals who will join us on a seasonal basis.

There are just a couple of requirements which you need to meet to make this work.

It is essential you can work any shift from Monday to Sunday and you are available to work until January (including Hogmanay and 1st January). This is vital to the smooth running of the operation.

Applicants must have the means to get to and from the Club without relying on public transport due to our rural location.

Successful candidates will receive full COSHH training and also gain a basic food hygiene certificate as part of this role.

Basic Job Function:

You are expected to follow a bespoke cleaning Rota which covers all aspects of cleaning maintenance for industrial cooking ranges, work tops and various light equipment and utensils that are used daily to business demands.

Be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, including washing up of dishes and pots

Ensure all agreed standards of cleaning are achieved and maintained as requested by the Senior Chef on duty

Close down the kitchen and report to the Night Manager when completed

Ensure correct chemicals are used and stored correctly

Follow scheduled deep cleaning tasks set out on the rota

Person:

It is desirable, but not essential, you have previous experience of working in a professional kitchen in a Kitchen Porter role.

You will have excellent personal hygiene and be happy to comply with our strict company dress code and appearance policy

The ability to take instruction and follow it closely is essential

You must have a good understanding of manual handling practices

Due to the physical nature of this role, the candidate must be physically fit and able to work long hours standing up.

It is essential you are able to work any shift from Monday to Sunday and you are available to work to January inclusive (including Hogmanay and 1st January).  This is vital to the smooth running of the operation.

Applicants must hold a full valid driving license or have the means to get to and from the Club without relying on public transport due to our rural location.
