We are currently looking for a Florist to join our busy team at our farm at Daylesford, near Kingham.

Salary £8.84 per hour, full time approx. 40 hours, 50% staff food discount, free uniforms, development and many other benefits.

About the Role

As Florist, you will need an exceptional knowledge of plants and floristry and be an enthusiastic role model, taking delight in engaging with people and sharing the art of plant care and floristry. You will need to be fully motivated in sales activity to drive full occupancy and have brilliant people skills, working well with other divisions to offer Daylesford’s exceptional customer service.

Main responsibilities

  • To deliver excellent customer service at all times
  • To actively drive basket spend in retail to meet and exceed weekly sales incentive targets
  • To deliver and champion the ‘retail standards’ document and ‘café order of service’
  • To play an active role in store and café set up and be proactive in assisting your team member colleagues
  • To pass all customer queries/complaints to your line manager immediately
  • To support all Plants, Floristry & Homeware merchandising, stock levels and ordering
  • To be active in hitting Plants & Flowers sales targets

About you

You will need to be passionate about Daylesford products and the ethos behind them. Previous experience in floristry is essential.

Flexibility is key in this role and would include working weekends and evenings. Usually the earliest shift starts at 7am and the latest finishes at 8pm.
