We are now looking for a Club Manager to work in our management team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual with previous experience in sales management who displays a warm personality and great communication skills. With more than 4,500 clubs worldwide, Anytime Fitness is the fastest growing fitness chain across the globe and this exciting new gym concept is now growing rapidly in the UK.

The Club Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of the Club, help maintain and develop the unique Anytime Fitness Culture and in particular drive membership sales. This will greatly involve sales outreach to create lead generating opportunities within the local corporate market.

In addition, responsibilities will include showing prospects around the club and following up prospects/leads.

Member attention and customer service is paramount in the role. You will also be responsible for general maintenance and cleanliness of the facilities. Ideal candidates should have an excellent track record of sales achievement and be experience in establishing strong relationships with the local business community. Key requirements are as follows:

  • Energetic, friendly and hungry individual with a keen interest in the fitness industry.
  • The ability to strive for membership targets and achieve them.
  • To lead, develop and mentor a team of Membership Advisors, Personal Trainers and Class Instructors
  • A proactive individual able to come up with innovative ideas to sell memberships and draw people to the club
  • A good communicator who has the personality to make prospective members feel at ease
  • Exemplary leadership, written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills
  • Advanced proficiency in use of computers (MS Excel & Outlook)
  • Ability to mentor, problem solve and consistently act as a role model
  • An ability to manage the Club whilst also hitting sales targets.
  • To co-ordinate all outreach work
  • To form a friendly bond with members and ensure a warm & friendly environment within the club.
  • To strictly maintain very high standards of cleanliness and maintenance in the gym

The role is based on 40 hours a week and will involve working at the weekend.
