Recruitment Specialist/HR Generalist - Ragdale Hall Spa, Melton Mowbray

Salary:

£19,500 – £21,000 per annum dependant on experience plus generous benefits package including £900 per year in tips, free meals on duty, free transport from Melton Mowbray and Asfordby, free on-site parking, uniforms, use of gymnasium and exercise classes, discounts on all Ragdale products, friends and family discount and much more.  For more information please see our benefits and rewards page.

Hours of work:

Working 39 hours per week over 5 days a week, this role will be predominately Mon-Fri (9:00am-5:30pm), with the occasional need to work at the weekend.

Our small but mighty HR team needs a dedicated Recruitment Specialist/HR Generalist to enhance our already considerable talents and take us to the next level.

Ragdale Hall Spa has an amazing team of over 500 people, across 25 departments, and we are still growing. The ‘Ragdale family’ is what makes the Hall such a successful business, which is why this is such an integral role.

We’re looking for a HR Generalist who can assist with all aspects of the HR role but will also manage the end to end recruitment process, promoting Ragdale as a great place to work, locally, nationally and even internationally, attracting the best people.

The role:

  • Assisting with all aspects of HR, providing advice and support to all Managers and employees, ensuring that all company policies and procedures are followed and compliance with employment law.
  • Liaising closely with Managers in respect of vacancies
  • Taking ownership for when and how positions are advertised, both internally and externally
  • Optimising all recruitment related material on our website
  • Creating inspiring and innovative job adverts
  • Investigating new recruitment platforms to successfully reach out to new candidates.
  • Regularly updating social media creating an ongoing interest in what is going on at Ragdale
  • Creating interesting blogs and developing relationships with other bloggers within our industry
  • Building and effectively managing a candidate database, including creating and sending regular ‘vacancy alert’ emails
  • Attending job fairs, exhibitions and competition events
  • Analysing return on investment for all advertising and social media activity
  • Delivering training to Managers on all aspects of recruitment and selection
  • Screening candidates, responding to them in a timely manner
  • Preparing offer letters and contracts
  • Developing the onboarding process
  • Overseeing the introduction of an applicant tracking system

The ideal candidate:

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has previous HR and recruitment experience.

You’ll need to be organised, creative, with an inquisitive mind and a sharp eye for detail. Fantastic written and verbal communication skills are essential. Ready to bring fresh ideas to the table, you will also have the experience and knowledge to be able to deliver them.
