  Specific Duties

 

 

 

 

 

 

1.     To be aware of hotel'slayout and facilities. 

 

 

 

2.     To complete public areacleaning duties as directed by your manager.

 

 

 

 

3.    Ensureall rooms correspond with lists given, reporting any discrepancies immediatelyto housekeeper.

 

 

 

 

4.    Removeall trays out of rooms.

 

 

 

 

5.    Openall windows in all rooms.

 

 

 

 

6.    Placeall dirty linen bags provided.

 

 

 

 

7.    Identifiesreject linen and stores this separately to return to the linen room.

 

 

 

 

8.    Completesone room at a time to the highest standard and in accordance with the roomspecification.

 

 

 

 

9.    Emptyall rubbish into black bags and remove them to the compactor.

 

 

 

 

10. Understandthe cleaning schedule and to ensure the correct solvents/cleaning products areused at all times

 

 

 

 

11. Cleanbathrooms to include basins, baths, toilets, mirrors, tiles and floors, etc.

 

 

 

 

12. Putclean towels in bathroom, folded correctly.

 

 

 

 

13. Replenishall toiletries as room specification.

 

 

 

 

14. Dustall furniture etc in bedrooms

 

 

 

 

15. Hooverall bedrooms

 

 

 

 

16. Hooverand dust corridors clean fire doors, brasses, daily.

 

 

 

 

17. Cleanservice room, daily

 

 

 

 

18. Carryout the 'Standard of the day' to the highest standard.

 

 

 

 

19. Handimmediately any lost property to the Head housekeeper, noting time, place anddate.

 

 

 

 

20. Reportall maintenance faults to Head or to the Housekeeping Supervisors

 

 

 

 

21. Ensureall rooms are supplied with adequate stationary and hotel information as roomspecification.

 

 

 

 

22. Completesany mistakes given by the Housekeeper, handing back in at the end of the shift.

 

 

 

 

23. Fullyunderstand all fire and emergency evacuation procedures.  Observes Company and Statutory Health andSafety Regulations.

 

 

 

 

24. Keepsuniform smart and clean at all times.

 

 

 

 

25. AttendDepartmental meetings, participating when appropriate.

 

 

 

 

26.  Attend any training sessions asidentified or requested by Head of Department. To be fully trained and tounderstand COSHH/Health and Safety.

 

 

 

 

27.  Clean Cupboards daily.
