Duty Manager - The River Club - Worcester Park

This is a unique opportunity as this is the first time that this full-time position as become available.

The River Club is privately owned and set in its own 12 acres of land and has the feel of a Country Club and is a home away from home for its 2500 Members.

The Duty Manager will report directly to the Operations and General Manager and will play a key role in the Club and will be given every opportunity to develop their career.

You will support every department ensuring the smooth operation of the Club to enhance the Members visits and will include but not limited to the following:

• Health and Safety of the Club including all emergency procedures, first aid and checklists
• Ensure the smooth running of all operations within the Club including cleanliness and maintenance
• Be the first point of contact with Members and resolving any issues
• Being a presence within the Club and helping promote events and promotions
• Helping opening and closing the Club including weekend according to the rota
• Developing and training staff in H&S and operations
• Stand in for the Operations and General Manager when required
• Come up and implement ideas to improve the Club

Ideally you will already have a background in Duty management or a customer facing environment with strong communication skills but just as important a desire to succeed and take on responsibility.  A First aid and pool plant course would be beneficial.
