An exciting opportunity exists at Brooksby Hall for a Junior Sous Chef to enhance our professional kitchen team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and talented professional to join the team at our award winning venue. Set within our beautiful 850 acre Brooksby campus, Brooksby Hall has built a reputation as a first class centre for conferencing, banqueting and weddings and has recently been awarded wedding venue of the year in Leicestershire.

You will need to have excellent communication skills, be hospitality and service focused, driven to deliver high standards with excellent attention to detail.  You will have a hands-on approach, disciplined with a right first time work ethic and be able to work autonomously.

You must be able to work quickly and under pressure whilst maintaining excellent presentation.

You will need to be a team player with excellent communication skills.

Previous experience is essential, especially in the delivery of high quality fresh food, as well as a positive attitude, attention to detail and a passion for food.  Candidates must be energetic, hard working, have experience working in a busy environment and perform well under pressure.

Knowledge of HACCP procedures and COSHH training would be an advantage.
