Guest Services Host - London Designer Outlet, Wembley Park

We are currently recruiting for a part time Guest Service Host to work at the London Designer Outlet in Wembley Park.

Upon application you should have experience in dealing with customers in either a sales or hospitality capacity and be comfortable working both in a team and alone. Whilst the role is primarily about ensuring all guest enquiries are dealt with promptly and effectively there is also an active side to the role which requires confidence in approaching guests around the centre and being proactive by identifying service opportunities to exceed the guests’ expectation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further their career in guest service as it not only requires great face to face conversational skills, but someone who likes to be actively walking around the centre and helping guests with enquiries

We are looking for someone who can work minimum 16 hours per week, mainly weekends. Shifts of 8 hours per day based on the needs of the business so applicants will need to be flexible and those available to take extra shifts in the week during event period would be ideal. Close proximity to Wembley are preferred.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the smooth running of the daily operations in the suite
  • Remain focused on their set personal and business objectives
  • Display the highest level of verbal and written communication to our Guests.
  • Provide the Guest Services Manager and supervisory colleagues with effective management information that will identify areas for improvement, and show progress of individuals, in relation to service performance, quality and training needs
  • Drive Gift card sales through the Centre, undertaking gift card training as required
  • Maintain a sound understanding and adherence to the ‘Code of Conduct’ and LDO brand values to ensure standards of presentation are upheld
  • Support and assist on site marketing activities and plan for impact on services on major event days – Wembley Stadium/ SSE Arena
  • Manage own learning and role development with the support of GS Supervisor and GS Manager
  • Handle Guest complaints and aim to resolve in timely manner; escalate to management where required
  • Compliance with Health and Safety regulations as well as fire regulations, and safe work practices
  • Maintain a sound level of housekeeping within the suite

  • Display prompt and effective organisation, planning and decision making
  • The ability to multi task and prioritise whilst working in a pressurised environment
  • Exercise creativity in addressing issues and pull together ideas from the team
