Limes Country Lodge Hotel – Solihull

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Events Coordinator to support our Sales and our front of house team. You will work as part of a dedicated team and be responsible for organising and delivering varied functions and events. From initial enquiry, planning stages, billing and delivery of event, your exceptional organisational skills will be required. We are looking for a dynamic, energetic and determined individual to join our team.  

You will liaise with our front of house team and kitchen departments to ensure our events are well executed. You will also be responsible for updating our events management system to ensure all events run smoothly. You will be required to arrange and carry out viewings with potential customers, ensuring you have excellent product knowledge and the ability to up-sell and exceed revenue targets. 

Events range from Weddings, Christmas parties, birthdays, anniversaries, christenings, wakes to in-house socials to name just a few! 

You will: 

  • Have previous event experience or relevant qualification.
  • Work to deadlines and enjoy a fast paced and creative environment.
  • Assist the Sales team by meeting potential clients, show-casing The Limes and our services.
  • Ensure that all telephone calls and written correspondence are handled promptly and accurately.
  • A passion for customer service with a great personality. 
  • Can do attitude, flexible to sudden changes with exceptional organisational skills. 
  • Enjoy working and interacting with people, face to face, over the phone and e-mail.  
  • Excellent at multitasking and have very high standards of work.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft office, including excel, word and outlook.
  • Excellent telephone manner and excellent communicator. 
  • Excellent personal presentation.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Be very reliable and trustworthy.
  • Providing responsive and flexible support to other initiatives related to the business as they emerge.

Job Type: Full-time to include weekends and evenings. We provide generous staff discount on all food, beverages and accommodation.

Required education - Diploma

Required license or certification - Driving License
