Customer Insight Planner - Senior Customer Research Executive
Based at Asda House in Leeds

We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Insight Planner to join our team in the Customer & Marketing function, here at Asda House. You may have experience as a Senior Customer Research Executive and be looking for your next move. You’ll be responsible for supporting the delivery of world class insight that reveals opportunities and inspires action, ensuring that the customer is fully understood and at the heart of strategic business decisions, through the scoping, creation, landing and sharing of commercially compelling insight. This role would suit candidates who have experience either within an Insight role from an Agency or Client Side background or candidates with previous experience in a Customer Service role within the Retail/ FMCG sector.

What you’ll be responsible for:

You will work alongside the Senior Insight Manager and two Insight Managers in the Retail Insight team.
You’ll -

Be a customer champion in the business

Manage and deliver customer insight projects to a high quality and on time (ad-hoc projects, trackers and mystery shopping)

Land insight in a clear, relevant and compelling way to engage and inspire action

Manage and build key relationships with internal stakeholders in Retail and Grocery Home Shopping, key insight agencies and across the Customer Insight team

Develop and land self-service and knowledge management tools and capabilities

About you:You’ll have -

A customer-focus and a passion for representing the customer within the business

Agency and/or client side background in research/data would be preferable although not essential

Excellent planning/ organisation with the ability to manage conflicting and tight deadlines

Strong project management and problem solving skills

Team player/ ability to work with multiple teams and share insights effectively

Strong analytical skills and competent with MS Office especially PowerPoint and Excel
