Cocktail Lounge Waiter/Waitress - h Club - London
Job Purpose: To provide an efficient, professional and friendly service of food and beverage to all h Club members and guests, delivering the Company’s standards of Service Excellence at all times
Reporting to: Club Manager/Assistant Club Managers
Summary of key activities:
- To be at your station/area at all times as stated on the rota
- To be in full uniform at all times whilst on duty
- To carry out all pre and post shift duties allocated to you
- To service and take care of your allocated station/area
- To maintain a sound knowledge of all food and beverage items on the Lounge Menus and to be able to make recommendations/upsell to members/guests
- To ensure good communication with all colleagues, supervisors and managers
- To promptly report any customer complaints to the manager on duty
- To follow all cash handling procedures set out by the Company
- To operate the point of sale system competently and efficiently
- To inform the manager of any discrepancies caused by other members of staff
- To undertake any additional duties as reasonably directed by the Lounge Supervisors and Club Managers
- To attend relevant staff training sessions
- To maintain a professional, helpful and polite relationship with all members and guests
- To keep abreast of and adhere to Health & Safety requirements at all times
Experience
- At least 1 - 2 years’ experience of having worked in a similar role
- Strong team player
- Highly organised and self motivated
- Intuitive and innovative
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels
- A self starter with a strong desire to attain the highest levels of customer care and service
- Dynamic and enthusiastic
