An exciting opportunity exists to join our well established Swim School Instructor team. You must be an ASA/STA level 2 qualified Swim Instructor with experience of teaching both adults and children. Times and days of classes will be variable so flexibility will be required. The number of likely hours offered initially will be 2 hours per week between the hours of 4-6pm and there is the opportunity to undertake additional classes to cover holiday and sickness absence.

The role will be to provide safe and enjoyable swim teaching by developing interesting and varied programmes to maximise customer satisfaction. You’ll need to be able to maintain an accurate register of participants and records of sessions and candidates’ progress. Skills in compiling lesson plans to ensure continuity, cohesion and progression will be required. Your teaching style should be friendly and inclusive so that participants can really enjoy the learning experience with adherence to the ASA/STA safety guidelines.

Level 2 Swiming Instructor Qualfication is required.

Candidates should have a good general education up to at least GCSE standard.

NPLQ/First Aid qualification desirable but not essential.
