As Maintenance Attendant you will ensure all works carried out in the hotel by staff or sub-contractors is compliant with Health & Safety regulations, carry out risk assessments for all operations, repair all damages and maintain all types of equipment and the overall property.

Responsibilities include:

 - Completing routine maintenance checks within hotel as per procedures
 - Carrying out ahhoc and emergency repairs
 - Assisting housekeeping with routine maintenance eg curtains, painting, basic plumbing and electrical works 
 - Ensuring outside of hotel and carpark are clean and tidy at all times
 - Working alongside external consultants to maintain and repair specialist equipment eg. plant and machinery.
 - Completing all work within Health and Safety regulations 
 - Ensuring protective equipment is used as necessary and risk assessments are up to date and equipment is stored correctly in line with COSHH regulations
 - Reporting any hazards
 - Acting in accordance with fire and emergency procedures
 - Complete weekly fire tests and record in Fire Log Book

To succeed the Maintenance Attendant will be computer literate, able to work as part of a team and on their own initiative with limited supervision.

Previous experience within similar job roles will be advantageous such as: Caretaker, Property Maintenance, Trades person, Tradesman, Handy person, Handyman, Plumber, Electrician, Groundsman, Painter, Decorator, Maintenance Assistant.
