Resourcing and Engagement Lead
Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover) – 6 months

Fusion Lifestyle are looking for an experienced recruitment resourcer to come on board as Resourcing and Engagement Lead.

Perhaps you are hoping to gain experience for your next move within the ever-changing recruitment industry, or are considering a role that offers you the opportunity to take that round-the-world trip you have been eagerly planning in for this year? If you are a disciplined self-starter; resilient and driven to deliver results, with the ability and inclination to work autonomously, then this role might just be the opportunity that you have been looking for.

The Role:
Starting in mid-March 2019 and reporting directly to the Head of HR, you will be based on London’s trendy Bermondsey Street, SE1, and will benefit from gaining experience of recruiting at a senior level in a fast-paced, multi-site Leisure environment, alongside the flexibility and mobility of a fixed-term contract. You will be solely responsible for the proactive recruitment, engagement and retention of the best talent in the industry.

About You:
To be successful in this role you will need experience of working either in a large headcount, multi-site, in-house resourcing position, or in a high-volume agency recruitment environment, and you will need demonstrable and extensive experience in the management of ATS.
Experience of engaging talent across multiple channels, interviewing and assessment centre recruitment, solid planning and organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise in-line with the business are all imperative; as is speed, accuracy and excellent attention to detail.

You will need superb written and verbal communication skills, the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the business, and excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Knowledge of current recruitment legislation and best practice is also essential.

The main tasks and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Maintain and implement the current processes and systems for attraction, selection and assessment, including third party jobs boards and affiliates/clients
  • Ensure ATS is 100% accurate, up-to-date and secure, including Weekly Data Cleansing of ATS systems
  • Maintenance of ATS and its processes, ensuring Hiring Managers’ adherence to the current deadlines and time-frames; securing the best possible candidate experience
  • Responsible for Fusion Careers Website, ensuring all material and vacancy advertisement is within legislative requirements and best-practice guidelines
  • Produce advertising material; re-writing where necessary in-line with industry best-practices and company standards
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stake-holders and Hiring Managers, gaining “buy-in”; influencing and instilling the team with confidence in the efficiency of processes and procedures
  • Support Hiring Managers with recruitment where necessary, offering your industry knowledge advice, and drawing on own expertise
  • Maintain and implement Recruitment Tool Kit for use at Centres, including recruitment posters and marketing
  • Contribute to Fusion internal communications to ensure positive employee engagement; including promoting employee benefits offered, newsletters and social media
  • Recruitment of future talent onto the Fusion 500 Apprenticeship programme, in collaboration with the Learning and Development team
  • Maintain tight control of the established resourcing budget, delivering initiatives within agreed budgetary limits
  • Recommend KPI measures for recruitment, retention and engagement where opportunities arise, and once agreed upon: report on and achieve measures
  • Support mobilisations of new contracts and new centres, as well as employee re-organisation and workforce planning initiatives
  • Ensure all resourcing is conducted within legislative requirements and best-practice guidelines

Some of the benefits you may enjoy as a Fusion employee include:

  • Up to 22 days’ holiday, plus 8 bank holidays (pro rata)
  • Free Gym & Swim membership at Fusion centres
  • Employer Contribution Pension Scheme
  • Discount on Bickels Yard Café F&B products
  • Eye test (DSE users)
  • Mobile phone discount
  • Career advancement opportunities
