Xercise4Less Gyms are looking for a creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic marketing team located in Leeds at our Head Office. Xercise4Less is the UK’s leading budget gym operator of 52 clubs. This role comes with a huge potential to develop as the group expands to over 100 gyms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all areas of graphic content, video and photography. Reporting to the Head of Marketing this role will be instrumental to deliver the brand and marketing strategy.

We are looking for a creative, digitally-savvy individual to develop our online presence as our Graphic Designer. This is a great opportunity for the right person that wants to make a difference to a fast-growing brand.

Responsibilities:

  • To drive the creative contract strategy using graphics, video, animations and printed material
  • Ability to think creatively, to produce new ideas, design concepts and drive the content strategy 
  • Working with campaign managers and external online marketing agencies to design and deliver all the digital assets, including but not limited to emails, display ads, social media graphics, landing pages etc 
  • Working with the web development team, ensuring our websites are on brand, and always up to date 
  • Keeping all stakeholders aware of timescales, clearly communicating any potential issues 
  • Leading design-led multi-variate testing 
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines 
  • Ability to work successfully to lead as part of a team 

Skills:

  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other Adobe Create Suite software
  • Competent in HTML5, CSS and ideally JavaScript (not essential)
  • Knowledge and understanding of health and fitness will be beneficial (not essential)
  • Awareness of competitors in the market
  • Excellent organisational and process skills
  • Good understanding of all aspects of digital design 
  • An eye for detail and a desire for consistency, whilst delivering excellent creative work 
  • Language skills advantageous but not essential 
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign 
  • Proficient in MS Office / Google Docs 
  • Video editing and other related design skills advantageous
