Reporting to the Resourcing Senior Manager, the Resourcing Manager will manage a small team of head office recruiters who work with hiring managers and HR Business Partners across our head office functions to not only proactively fill current vacancies, but also work on our longer term workforce planning & talent pooling strategies.

You will partner with the Senior Manager, HR Business Partners & Managers to create sourcing strategies & support workforce & succession planning as well as supporting the head office advertising strategy & budget. You will also have scope to introduce new ways of working, revise our resourcing & advertising approach & review new technology and training, and will have had experience of delivering this in previous roles. This is a hands on recruitment role, so as well as leading a team you will be supporting a business function to deliver their recruitment requirements.

As the go-to sourcing expert you will inspire confidence across the business, and within the people team, to deliver effective and innovative recruitment solutions ensuring we have the right talent, right place, right time.

About You

Previous experience of leading and developing a recruitment team is essential alongside a demonstrable background in delivering innovation and change across resourcing, talent pooling strategies and advertising approach.Providing a best in class experience to candidates, hiring managers and internal stakeholders will come naturally to you.With a passion for all things ‘sourcing’, you will constantly be developing your own, and your team’s skillset, and are excited by emerging technology that enables recruiters to do their job more effectively.You make data driven decisions, spotting trends and insights to inform judgement and best advise the business and stakeholders.You’re proactive and solution orientated, facing challenges head-on and are driven to deliver.You are credible, internally and externally, influencing and advising as appropriate, challenging the status quoYou are self-motivated with exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills, retail is fast paced and you will have to prioritise and communicate effectively.You’ll have a strong recruitment background including management experience, ideally with in-house experience, supporting a range of diverse business functions. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Resourcing Centre of Excellence to shape not only our resourcing strategy but also our wider strategic projects.
