Operations Manager

Description Most of your responsibilities are (but not limited to)
● Fill in for the General Manager when absent
● Manage staff task distribution and performance
● Manage staff schedule, payroll, LOAs and needs.
● Support staff training and ensure training happens
● Maintain inventory of supplies, amenities and others
● Coordinate the purchasing of supplies and amenities
● Create and manage the location’s physical areas and equipment maintenance schedule
● Coordinate location repairs as needed
● Conduct periodic inspections of physical areas and
equipment to detect maintenance or repair needs
● Procure service providers and supplies needed for
maintenance and repairs
● Establish and manage the security measures of the location
● Ensure proper security coverage of the location
● Investigate, manage and report security issues and alerts
● Monitor security cameras
● Create occupancy forecast
● Work with Sales & Marketing on strategies to drive higher occupancy
● Review daily check-ins and checkouts
● Respond to comments and reviews in OTAs
● Report on room availability
● Supervise room assignment and compliance with reservations guidelines
● Be the escalation point for guest complaints and support
● Be a good host to all guests
● Manage and monitor compliance with budget
● Control cashier closing
● Manage the location’s safety plan
● Manage emergency and disaster recovery plans
Requirements

Experience
● Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel operations management
● Experience in team management
