Head of Product: Co-Work - London
What the role is
The Head of Co-Work is responsible for overseeing our Co- Work business globally, from strategy to development to operational performance.
What you will be doing
Strategy
- Define the strategy for our Co-Work business in line with our corporate goals and growth plans.
- Collaborate with other departments (such as sales, marketing, concept and operations) to formulate and periodically revisit and aggressive and robust plan.
Standards
- Ideate and define the standards for our Co-Work product globally. This includes both the standards that should be common to all Selina locations, as well as specific items/sub-products to be customized per location.
- Work in partnership with other product and development functions to ensure those standards are properly rolled-out into our properties.
- Partner with the Operations department to ensure the operational standards and processes for the Co-Work business are adequate and supportive of both revenue and experience.
Management
- Actively participate in the hiring, and in the creation and delivery of training for all staff working at our Co-Work spaces, in partnership with our Recruitment Department and Selina Academy.
- Facilitate onboarding on new Heads of Country and GMs into the Co-Work business.
- Monitor and mentor the team working on Co-Work.
- Report to Executive Team on business status, strategy and performance on a regular basis.
Business Operations
- Track and monitor the performance of the Co-Work business globally and by segment (country/property type/more).
- Work with Sales, Marketing and Operations to drive the Co-Work business to the maximum revenue.
- Work with Operations, Experience & Culture to ensure the ‘co-work community’ is properly looked after and bringing in additional business.
- Partner with other products to capitalize on cross-selling opportunities (e.g.: F&B).
What you will need to succeed
- Experience working in designing, defining and rolling out
- a product internationally
- Solid understanding of the Co-Work business
- 5+ years of experience in Co-Work or similar business
- Connections in the remote working ecosystem
- Ability to communicate clearly- both verbal and written
- Ability to navigate among diverse tasks and among
- diverse levels of the organization
- Strong Leadership skills: an ability to influence non-direct reports
- Creativity
- Commercial mindset
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- English mandatory and Spanish highly desirable.
