Location: Maidstone Leisure Centre, Mote Park, ME15 7RN

Working Hours/Pattern: 32.5 hours per week

Salary: Up £13,232.00 per annum

We are currently recruiting for a Fitness Instructor to work 32.5 hours per week covering earlies and lates between Monday to Sunday as part of the large operational team within a busy leisure environment.

With five swimming pools, brand new family changing rooms, a two storey state-of-the-art gym, sports hall, children’s soft play area and a 1,200 seated event hall offering a wide range of leisure activities for the whole family to enjoy, any age and ability.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has previous experience of working within the leisure environment with the ability to provide safe, appropriate, fun and results focussed fitness coaching to customers as well as inducting and assessing new members. 

As the fitness instructor you will develop weight loss and fitness programmes with realistic goals to enable them to achieve their objectives in a fun and enjoyable environment.

You will also have a good standard of personal presentation, communication and customer service skills.

It is essential that you hold at least a level 2 fitness qualification and desirable that you hold an advanced fitness qualification and GP referral certificate.
