The Westmorland Family is a food business; we have a unique story to tell around our connection with our family farm, our locally sourced food, our Farmshops and Kitchens and our involvement in our local communities. We are a growing business of 1000 people which runs Tebay Services, Tebay Services Hotel and Rheged on the M6 in Cumbria, Gloucester Services and Cairn Lodge.

We are currently expanding our Facilities department and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrician to join our busy team.

You will be respnsible for carrying out PPM scheduled and reactive repairs to site based equipment, alongside completing proactive inspections and remedial repairs and managing energy consumption via BMS systems and site utilities monitoring.

You will carry out reactive repairs as instructed and respond within SLA timescales escalating any unresolved issues, perform risk assessments before all PPM and reactive works, and order all required parts and equipment for jobs. You will ensure efficient maintenance activities and proactively look for opportunities to save energy.

The successful Electrician will have a City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, 18th edition Electrical Regs certification, Asbestos awareness, L8 Water legionella, and Central battery systems competency.

You will need a full clean driving licence, and your own vehicle. You will be based at Tebay Services, but there will be travel to our other sites when required.

This position is full time, and will include weekend working and participating in an 'on call' rota.
