Operations Manager Norwich £27,500-£30,000

I am looking for an operations manager to work at a large and very busy sports and leisure facility in Norwich. You will be responsible for a large number of sporting facilities including multiple all weather pitches, an athletics track, racquets, a large gymnastic centres and sports halls generating a combined revenue of around £1m per annum. The centres hosts a number of sporting events throughout the year and key to success is to optimise the programming and utilisation of these facilities and assets requiring a close partnership with the marketing and front of house teams.

You will be responsible for managing a team of sports assistants and sports coaches and will work closely with the senior management team in ensuring that you deliver the highest standards of customer service whilst ensuring the budgets are achieved. You will also be responsible for carrying out DM shifts across the whole centre.

Dedicated and passionate about sport, you must have a degree (or equivalent qualification or experience) in sport or leisure/sport management and a First Aid at Work qualification. An ideal background would be working as an operations manager within a large multipurpose leisure facility or potentially managing a leading 5 a side centre.
