Theatre HSSU / Porter - Evening worker

About the person and the role

The role includes being an instrument technician in the Sterile Stores area, this involves handling instruments, preparing them to be transferred to the HSSU in Wetherby and packing sterile instruments away on their return.

This a physical role with pushing bed to lifting heavy equipment. You will be working in a fast moving clinical environment, with constant interaction with the Theatre Team. You will need to be a good communicator with basic IT skills as working within HSSU is a computerised environment.
