Grantley Hall is continuing its preparations for the upcoming spring opening with a focus on recruitment, led by General Manager Andrew McPherson who will oversee what is tipped to be one of the UK’s most remarkable luxury launches of 2019.
Exciting job opportunities are available across all departments, all benefiting from the property’s pioneering employee wellness, training and development programme.Once open it’s estimated that Grantley Hall will create approximately 180 local job opportunities.
Grantley Hall will be hosting an open day in order to meet potential candidates, give an insight in to what life working for Grantley Hall will be like, as well as introduce the Grantley Academy.The open day will take place on the 28th January at East Lodge, the home of the Grantley Academy, between 10:00am and 08:00pm.
Interested members of the public will be able to come to Grantley Hall on a drop-in basis and find out more about the fantastic opportunities available now and in the coming weeks.
Director of HR ,Samantha Fearnley, will be leading the recruitment drive, looking locally, nationally and internationally for prospective employees with a passion for hospitality and a desire to be involved in one of the UK’s most hotly anticipated luxury hotel openings.
She said “There are a diverse range of job opportunities, suited to varying levels of experience across all hotel departments including food and beverage, fitness and wellness, housekeeping, front of house, maintenance and back of house. So, our open days are a fantastic way for people interested in working for Grantley Hall to come and see what the project is all about”.
Located at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, near Ripon, Grantley Hall is a historic Grade II* listed property, complete with a lake and English-heritage listed Japanese garden.The multimillion pound restoration project, overseen by owners the Yorkshire-based Sykes family, will see the property return to its former glory offering a relaxed luxury hotel and wellness retreat with 47 exquisite rooms and suites and an extensive and diverse range of dining options.
