Housekeeping Supervisor - The Hoxton, Shoreditch

We are currently recruiting for experienced Housekeeping Supervisor, to join us here at The Hoxton Shoreditch. 

Reporting to our Head Housekeeper, Iwona you will be responsible to support the management of our day to day housekeeping operation through leading and inspiring the team to provide a friendly, helpful and responsive level of service to all our guests.

Main Responsibilities...

  • To be responsible for the supervision and control of the cleaning and servicing for all bedrooms and public areas in the hotel.
  • To help guests have a memorable experience in a spotlessly clean and well maintained rooms.
  • To lead and develop the Housekeeping team and provide a naturally friendly, helpful and responsive level of service for our guests.
  • To train and develop a team of individuals to their fullest potential, encouraging them to become fully rounded employees.
  • To assist the Head Housekeeper in maintaining and developing our partnership with our external housekeeping provider.
  • Maintain a positive and friendly attitude at all times, even when working to achieve solutions to challenges.

We Want You If…

  • You have hotel or leisure related experience in a similar role.
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills and competent computer skills.
  • You have experience of Micros Fidelio Opera or a similar front desk operating system.
  • You have experience of Health & Safety procedures.
  • You jump out of bed every morning, fizzing with energy and jazzed about what you’re doing today.
  • You get us. You know our hotels, you’ve hung out in our bars and possibly regretted that last cocktail the next morning.
  • You get stuff done.
  • You’re not precious. You appreciate some ideas work and some don’t. But we do like to try (almost) everything once.
  • You are humble. There are no egos, and no drama.
  • You have "the eye" for detail
  • Your glass is half full, always.
  • If we get stuck in a lift with you, we'll enjoy a good natter.
