We have an exciting new opportunity within the HR (People team), we are looking for an analyst who has a passion for data and insight who is ready to take the next step in their career.

The successful candidate will be able to turn data into information and information into actionable insight. The insight you provide will help management make business decisions to drive the business forward and engage new opportunities.

This role will give you the opportunity to showcase your creative talent by producing eye catching presentations and also give you a platform to be able to make a difference. There is an opportunity for development within the People (HR/ Human Resources) function as you will be working with all teams within the function.

What you’ll be responsible for:
  • Processing and owning reports which will vary in frequency, the reports you produce will be distributed to senior leaders to help make business decisions
  • You will assist in creating the new People Dashboard which will help create focus and drive performance in our store, depots and home offices
  • Acquire data from People systems which include SAP and PeopleSoft
  • Identify, analyse and interpret trends or patterns
  • Creating action plans to resolve issues
  • Work with management and senior leadership to prioritise business needs
  • Identify process improvements and business opportunities
  • Troubleshooting and solving potential system issues and reporting anomalies
  • Conducting ad-hoc reporting
  • You will take time to understand how the function combines and works together to give the best possible experience to the colleague
  • Collation of vital performance data
  • Adherence and knowledge of GDPR

  • About you:
    You’ll have -
  • Have a proven track record in a similar role
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft excel at an advanced level
  • Confidently talk about the reporting you will produce and translate the data in meetings
  • Ability to challenge with diplomacy at all levels
  • Comfortable engaging in difficult conversations
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collate, organise, analyse and distribute significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • The ability to tell a story through your data analysis
  • Ability to manage own time and workload – this role is for the proactive colleague
  • Proven track record of identifying opportunities through data interrogation and suggesting improvements and long term fixes
  • Experience using the full Microsoft Office suite would be advantageous
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite would be advantageous
  • Experience using Tableau and/or Power BI would be advantageous
