Sports Operative ( Fitness Instructor) - Riseholme College

Part Time (working 20 hours per week. Currently hours are Tuesday and Friday 11.30 am to 9.30pm, with some additional hours required on some Sundays subject to business needs)   

£15,596 per annum pro rata

Riseholme College, part of Bishop Burton College, is one of the leading land-based Colleges in the UK with strong and sustained growth in student numbers.  We provide Further Education and Higher Education at our campuses at Bishop Burton College near Beverley and at Riseholme College near Lincoln which includes the Showground Campus featuring state of the art teaching environments, engineering workshops, sports facilities, world class laboratories and an industry leading animal management unit.  The Showground Campus has new purpose built sport facilities which include a fitness suite, sports hall and a floodlit full size 4G football pitch. We are also home to the Lincoln City Academy Training base. 

Based at our Showground Campus in Lincolnshire, you will assist in the day-to-day operation of the Sport and Fitness Centre which will include administration, clerical and reception tasks, facility maintenance and cleaning, setting up and dismantling sports equipment for bookings, conducting gym inductions and creating fitness programmes for customers.  You will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of customer care and customer satisfaction. 

Qualified as a Level 2 Fitness Instructor with a first aid qualification you will also have at least 1 years’ relevant experience in either a sport or a customer focused industry.  You should be outgoing, enthusiastic, with a positive 'can do' attitude that will assist us in providing effective, professional and fitness based services to students, staff and external customers.
