Job Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to join the team in our Newcastle Store


This is a fantastic time to join Debenhams in one of our largest stores. 

In this role, you will lead your team to deliver excellent standards of product and visual presentation. This focus will maximise the delivery of achieving store targets and give our customers a fabulous shopping experience.

From the look of our store windows to the back of house areas, high standards are essential. It will be your responsibility to instil and maintain these principles through your team.  Your reaction to changes in the market and rapidly changing patterns in work flow will ensure the store remains commercially driven and visually appealing at all times.

Using your commercial awareness, and knowledge of fashion retail, you will identify opportunities to drive sales and maximise profits, whilst enhancing the look and feel of our stores. Implementing company pricing strategies and promotional activity will be a key deliverable for you and your team.

With responsibility for a staffing and resource budget, you be expected to optimise value and costs where ever possible. You will build and manage a strong team to drive store standards and deliver key targets, maximising their individual potential and progression.

Candidate Requirements:

This role will suit individuals who are well accustomed to working collaboratively and have the commercial acumen to drive sales and profit. It requires someone with strong leadership qualities with experience in merchandise layout and visual presentation across a diverse product range.

We are looking for proven experience of developing individuals potential and skills to support business growth.

Desirable experience

Ideally you will have at least 2 years experience of leading a team in a fashion retail environment.
