Job Details

GLL are looking for Performing Arts Teachers for our leisure centres across London in Brent, Barnet, Greenwich, Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Islington, Kensington and Chelsea, Sutton, Crystal Palace and Lambeth.

We're expanding our Performing Arts programmes and want to give local people the opportunity to learn and develop new kills in Street Dance, Jazz, Lyrical Dance, Ballet, Contemporary and Creative Dance as well as Drama and Musical Theatre. Being a charitable social enterprise, means that we want to make our courses accessible and affordable to all and we're looking for qualified teachers who share our passion. Classes will take place in term times on weekdays, 4pm to 6pm and weekends.

As a Performing Arts Teacher for GLL, you'll deliver high-quality classes which are creative in content and enjoyable for students to take part in. You'll be a key part of a team who share the same ethos and values of nurturing and developing creativity, where you'll have the opportunity to bring new ideas forward . You'll live and breathe performing arts and your passion will rub off on those you teach.

You should have formal teaching qualifications with a recognised association or degree in dance, musical theatre or drama . You'll know how to give structure to your classes and keep your students engaged whether they're beginners or professionals preparing for auditions.
