Within our care home sector we are looking for a credit control assistant to join our team at head office.

About the role...

As the Credit Control Assistant, your main duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Client account reconciliation
  • Chasing of aged debt involving both client and local authority accounts
  • Regular follow up phone calls and sending correspondence to resolve payment issues and reduce debtor days
  • Accept and administrate credit card payments     
  • Posting and allocation of bank receipts to the finance system
  • Sending out client invoices and statements of account
  • Prepare debtors reports for review detailing actions taken and current position

The desirable candidate would be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Numeracy skills
  • Basic Excel knowledge
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proactive approach to investigating issues and then following up
  • Pleasant telephone manner

Some experience of the credit control function, particularly within the care sector, would be highly advantageous.
