Within our care home sector we are looking for a credit control assistant to join our team at head office.
About the role...
As the Credit Control Assistant, your main duties will include but not be limited to:
- Client account reconciliation
- Chasing of aged debt involving both client and local authority accounts
- Regular follow up phone calls and sending correspondence to resolve payment issues and reduce debtor days
- Accept and administrate credit card payments
- Posting and allocation of bank receipts to the finance system
- Sending out client invoices and statements of account
- Prepare debtors reports for review detailing actions taken and current position
The desirable candidate would be able to demonstrate the following:
- Numeracy skills
- Basic Excel knowledge
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Proactive approach to investigating issues and then following up
- Pleasant telephone manner
Some experience of the credit control function, particularly within the care sector, would be highly advantageous.
