The Holiday Inn London - Kensington is located just off Kensington High Street. It’s a 700 bedroom 4 star hotel with 13 meeting rooms and extensive spa facilities, and we are looking for an F&B Outlet Manager (Bar & Starbucks) to join our busy and professional team. We need someone, who is charismatic, professional and well groomed.

We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic F&B Outlet Manager (Bar & Starbucks) to join the Food & Beverage Team.

In this role you will assist with ensuring the smooth operation of the outlet. The successful candidate will be responsible in exceeding sales targets and profit margins as well as managing the team.

You will also be responsible for the performance and development of the team.

Some of the duties will include:

  • Makes sure the team delivers the best service and customer experience.
  • Ensures that there is a good working environment and a warm and friendly atmosphere at all times at the point of sale
  • Welcomes and maintain loyalty of customers and ensures key customers are recognized.
  • To be responsible for wage management for the team and provide a forecast a projected wage costs.
  • To be responsible for the control and management of the department, ensuring that the department achieves gross profit percentages.
  • To identify training needs throughout the department and the means to fulfil them. To ensure SOP training is completed.
  • To ensure that the stock is controlled.
  • To ensure cash/accounting procedures are followed by all team members.
  • To ensure that the department staffing levels are suitable to the business needs, by careful planning and controlling of costs so that productivity is maximised. Rotas to be prepared and submitted for validation each week to the F&B Manager.
  • To manage employee performance in line with the company’s policies.
  • To carry out an annual appraisal with each employee and a flash appraisal every six month.

Essential requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar environment.
  • Be available to work flexible shifts, including early openings and late closures
  • A previous successful experience managing and training teams.
  • Excellent organizations skills and ability to find solutions.
  • Genuine passion for customer service and a sparkling personality.
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm is key for this position.
