Personal Travel Concierge 24K basic + incentives Kensington

I am looking to recruit a personal travel concierge to work for an award winning private residence owners club. Based in Kensington, West London my client operates in excess of 50 properties globally and provide their high net worth members, their families and friends with a world class concierge service in facilitating and arranging in great detail their holiday bookings and experiences at their luxurious selection of 4 and 5+ villas, chalets and apartments. Working with a team of 6 colleagues you will be responsible for:

Bookings

  • Making reservations via email/ phone/ in-house booking system for our properties as well as reciprocal partners' properties
  • Ensuring that reservations only get approved if they comply with the booking rules associated with each type of Membership
  • Amending and cancelling reservations. Refunding Points/Nights and Waiting List Management
  • Liaising with Finance department to raise invoices for Members and ensure Members with outstanding debt are closely monitored
  • Answering availability requests and any question about booking rules/process

Trip planning

  • Keeping accurate records of all upcoming arrivals for the coming months
  • Contacting Members 4 to 12 weeks prior to their trip to plan for their stay
  • Organizing activities, making arrangements for Members (tours, ski/cooking lessons, transfers, restaurants/catering, babysitting, etc.; excludes flights)
  • Assembling and sending an Itinerary for each trip taken by Members
  • Liaising with local concierge team/operations team to ensure seamless arrival and stay for Members

Member engagement

  • Members Account Managing - approx. 80 Members (updating ACC/additional points/nights payments; ensuring special agreements are adhered to and updated in records)
  • Building a personal relationship and offering a professional and friendly service to Members at all times
  • Getting to know Members to offer them the best possible service
  • Monitor Members usage to detect any anomaly and identify upgrade opportunities

Property specialist

  • Acquire expert-knowledge of 7-10 properties/destinations of the portfolio
  • Update all information related to these properties (property and destinations guides, etc)
  • Offer expert advice to Members on properties and local areas

Qualification / Experience / Skills / Attributes

  • Ability to multi task and work autonomously
  • Proactive, resourceful, assertive, approachable and professional
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience in the luxury/travel/hospitality sector
  • Highly organised and reliable
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The position will be based near Kensington in West London. The position is Monday to Friday only with typical hours being 8-4.30pm or 9.30-6pm.

Benefits of the position include a highly competitive basic salary, a performance related bonus, 20 days annual holiday and one week's complimentary stay per annum at one of the properties which is worth several thousand pounds.
