Brand Manager - Ennismore London

We are looking for a Brand Manager, to join us here at The Hoxton.

The Hoxton is a series of open-house hotels inspired by the diversity and originality of their neighbourhoods. Everyone is welcome at The Hoxton, and we interact with our communities, bringing the outside in and the inside out. As Brand Manager, you’ll be essential in bringing this ethos to life.

The Hoxton, Shoreditch was the first, opening in 2006 and since then we have opened in Holborn, Amsterdam, Paris, Williamsburg and Portland. Next year, we will open in Chicago, Downtown LA and Southwark. We choose cities we love to hang out in and want our guests to experience the best of each neighbourhood. You’ll be part of a team that helps to build the brand reputation of The Hoxton in London, working closely with the Brand Director and helping manage a Brand Executive.

What you’ll do

We’re not really a strict job descriptions kind of place – we all roll our sleeves up and get stuck in wherever needed – but here's an idea of how we see the role...

BRAND MANAGEMENT

  • Work with the Brand Director on strategic planning for the year ahead and assessing and developing the plan throughout the year.
  • Developing key brand initiatives that push creativity and connect with our consumers in innovative ways, as well as delivering against room and restaurant commercial targets.
  • Manage brand projects ensuring clear briefs are in place, driving communication across relevant departments and a high standard of execution, elevating each project and working closely with the hotel operations teams to deliver.
  • Work with the Brand Director and the Design Team to define the brand identity and maintain consistency across properties, including training and induction materials
  • Coordinate and share brand information and project updates to key internal stakeholders on a regular and ongoing basis.
  • Understand & immerse yourself in the marketplace - consumer and competitors to ensure we continue to drive new thinking.
  • Be the gate-keeper of the brand values and tone of voice.

CREATIVE STUDIO TEAM

  • Work with Design team on new concepts and identities and maintain high standards of creative excellence
  • Work closely with the design studio, writing inspiring briefs and running creative kick-off sessions.
  • Help people across all Hox locations and departments deliver design collateral to meet their needs, e.g. Sales teams, People Team, Hotel Ops teams, Restaurant teams, Cultural Marketing teams etc.
  • Work with Head of Product on retail assets and campaign launches.
  • Work with the Studio Manager to prioritise briefs and deliver against timings and to budget.

GUEST EXPERIENCE

  • Maintaining brand standards through guidelines and regular walkarounds, whilst spotting opportunities to improve and innovate.
  • Spend time in all hotels, listening to guests and staff, picking up the vibe and seeing where we can always improve.
  • Help develop seasonal tactical activations in (and out) of our spaces, as well as on-brand promotional mechanics to drive room and restaurant traffic in low occupancy periods.
  • Develop ways to ensure we are the best local guides to our guests online and offline.
  • Enhance the guest experience through amenities, fitness, local partnerships etc.
  • Work with the Digital team to develop our end to end booking journey.
