What is the main purpose of the role?

Your responsibilities include assisting the Housekeeping Manager in the management, preparation, set up and service of this Conferencing and Events Property (including Health & Safety and COSHH procedures) through maintaining and improving the standards and quality of service.

You with the Night cleaners will clean and service Conferencing and Events Meeting Rooms and public areas as required. Will also be in charge of checking the orders of the supplies (Hand soap, cleaning supplies) in order of keeping all areas tidy.

You will support the Housekeeping Manager in delegating tasks, motivating the Night Cleaners, identifying training needs and assisting in their on going personal development. Also you will be monitoring the grooming standards of all the Night Cleaners.

You will be expected to handle all guest needs, enquiries, Lost Property enquiries, requests and complaints where appropriate in a prompt and efficient manner.

The ideal candidate

We are looking for someone that has previous experience as a supervisor in a guest facing role within the Conferencing and Events/Hospitality industry, with the addition of having experience of managing staff rotas. Ideally this would have been in a front facing environment.
