VACANCY

 

Dakota Hotel located in South Queensferry are seeking an outgoing morning-person for the role of full-time Breakfast Manager.

 

Our location is easily accessible by train (15min walk from Dalmeny Train Station) and bus (frequent stops at Ferrymuir Retail Park). We also offer complimentary parking for both employees and guests. 

We are a 132-bedroom boutique hotel with a destination cocktail Bar and brasserie-style Grill, as well as three events spaces. 

 

CONTRACT AND REWARD

The role carries a permanent contract for 36 hours per week, working 6 days with chosen day of the week off. Shift times are typically 6am-12noon and 7am-1pm at the weekends.

 

The gross annual salary £16,000 paid on a monthly basis. This role will also receive cash and card tips.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Job responsibilities include:

-To be responsible for the standards of guest care and running of breakfast service in out restaurant, alongside the management of the breakfast team. 

-Run the department with a motivational style of leadership, and be hands-on in service to drive standards of table service. 

-Be responsible for writing the rota, development, and performance management of the Breakfast Team. Train all team members to work at Dakota service standards and support their development through positive reinforcement and on-the-job coaching. 

-Uphold Dakota service standards and drive continual improvement by motivating your team to work efficiently and with finesse. To lead by example by always following company procedures and working within the Dakota Values.

 

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

The successful applicant will have/be:

-At least 3 years working experience working in restaurant.

-At least 1 years supervisory experience or above.

-Passionate about working in a restaurant environment.

-Successful candidates must demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for the role as well as their ability to show a long-term commitment to the brand as a real team player.
