Junior Sommelier – The Westbury Hotel, Dublin

We are currently recruiting for a Junior Sommelier to join the team at WILDE, the fine dining restaurant in The Westbury that redefines traditional dining while creating a unique destination that's both relaxing and luxurious.

As our Junior Sommelier, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Head Sommelier & The Doyle Collection Wine Consultant to curate the award winning selection for the wine list and refresh as required based on customer feedback, seasonality and current trends in Dublin.

Reporting to the General Manager of the Restaurant, on a daily basis, you will assume responsibility for advising guests during service about their wine requirements, in order to enhance the guest experience and suggest them the perfect wine choice(s) for their taste, dishes ordered, the occasion and their budget.

Additional responsibilities include the management of stock, training of team members, liaising with marketing on wine lists, suggestion of innovative promotions and more. The ideal candidate will be working in a similar role, with excellent wine knowledge and WSET Level 2 is desirable but not essential.

The junior sommelier will have a strong food and beverage background and will be seen as a strong team player who participates in all areas of the service side if the operation.
