The Maytime Inn is a 17th century unique free house. Our rooms are luxurious and Indulgent with a touch of shabby chic. Representing farm-to-table dining, using ingredients grown and sourced locally. The restaurant is popular with both guests and locals who enjoy the inn’s distinct atmosphere. Diners of all ages can enjoy an a la carte menu, pub classics, elegant sharing boards and lunchtime sandwiches or on Sunday for our superb traditional Sunday roast with a menu that changes each week. The venue hosts 2 bars with over 100 gins, numerous guest ales and a huge selection of choice. 

Due to natural progression we are looking for a general manager. A hands on person happy to work on the front line and lead the venue from the front. This is an operational floor based role, we are looking for a general manager who can lead the venue, this includes management and delegation for smooth running of day to day service. More than that it includes creating ongoing training plans and implementing them to ensure the team continue to work at the highest standards. Working with the independent owner who will keep an interest in marketing and finance you'll deliver their long term development plans, budgets and objectives together.
