Accounts Assistant

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our Global Business Services Team. The department provides a great opportunity to be part of one of the UK’s largest Accounts Payable Teams. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to gain practical experience in Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger accounting, or who are interested in pursuing a career in Finance.
You will be part of a large team, which works at pace, ensuring the accurate processing and payment of supplier invoices and providing great customer service to a wide range of internal and external customers. You will have a strong team work ethic, attention to detail and enjoy developing working relationships. This role provides many opportunities to further develop both your technical and behavioural capabilities with various study support schemes available and a wealth of experience and knowledge across the department.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Data scanning, document indexing and input

Invoice and statement reconciliation

Investigation and resolution of customer queries within agreed SLAs

Debt management and credit control

Providing technical support to customers

Payment processing in multiple currencies

Participating in project work

Delivery of agreed KPA’s within SLAs
